About Sundale Cottage

Sundale is all about traditional style and comfort. With brand new mattresses and sofas, crisp linens and good quality tableware the cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout to provide our guests with a real home from home combining contemporary convenience with a nod to the past. Sundale is at least 200 years old, situated on the old coaching route (now the A39) which leads further down into Cornwall all the way to Truro and beyond.

A basket of logs is provided so that you can cosy up next to the woodburner on chilly evenings and perhaps enjoy a film from our extensive DVD library. With board games and plenty of books, the cottage also has free Wifi and digital radios in both double bedrooms. There is a separate dining area and a comfortable living space with ample seating for socialising and relaxing.

Guests comment on the comfort of the beds at Sundale Cottage, and all linens and towels are provided, apart from beach towels. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second double room has a 4'6" double bed (guests should note that the second room is very small, and the bed is only accessible from one side).

The third bedroom accommodates two people in bunks and is designed for younger guests.

Sundale has a downstairs bathroom and newly refurbished upstairs shower room with WC. Taller guests should note that the upstairs shower is height and width restricted.

The kitchen is very well equipped with Neff appliances, a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Even the most discerning and ambitious cook will be satisfied with the tools and appliances provided which include a food processor, quality knives, cast iron casseroles and even an ice cream maker.

The spacious and sunny cottage garden contains a patio with garden dining table to seat six, seasonally changing flower borders, a well stocked herb bed and a lawned area ideal for sunbathing and play.

We are excited to welcome guests to Sundale and share this wonderful part of the world. Please contact us if you have any questions at all about Sundale or the local area.
